update to my question about wearing an emergency pendant

Thanks to everyone for letting me know it is ok.  Today the sales consulant said the same thing.  Did say they had one pacemaker user there with out any problems.  At this time after touring that location decided to keep looking  as it was built in 1988 and we have new ones just being built.   With better curb appeal.

Athough they did say with my food sensitivites would have a hard time eating there.  Which i knew.

You will have lots of options. Take your time and do your research. Try and speak with residents of any place you're interested in to see how upkeep goes, how often they raise rates, etc.

thanks Lavender

did speak with one briefly asked her why she chose that one.  She did mention a friend who was moving into another one.  then i came home an send an email to those i know in my area.  Asking if they or someone they knew was living in one.  One gave glowing recomendances for this one.  Her mother was there.

My Dog Tags

by Stache - 2024-05-01 19:28:24

I wear a pair of dog tags and this past February it really paid off.  The pacer clinic turned me off by mistake as I am 100% paced dual chamber and went into cardiac arrest.  I was rushed downstairs to the ER where I was unable to speak and the ER staff found by Dog Tags with my pacer data on it and my wife's contact information.

It took a while to restart my pacer while I was given CPR but having my pacer data on my Dog Tags really helped speed up the process of restarting me.  Doctors were thankful I had all the information they needed to use the correct equipment to restart my pacer and my cardiac doctors name.  I have a wrist bracelet as well when I travel or ride my bicycle.
