40 Lives Saved!

In Novemeber, I asked for your help to save the lives of patients who can not afford a cardiac device.   Our goal was to raise $10,000 for Heartbeat International, a non-profit charity that not only provides cardiac devices, but ALL of the related medical care at no charge to poor patients in developing countries.

My request for help was answered!  $10,200 was donated by fellow members and freinds of the Club.  The St. Jude Medical Foundation will generously match this amount to bring the total to over $20,000, enough to save 40 lives.
