Wanted: Old Devices

January 14, 2011

Do you collect your old devices and monitoring equipment?  If so, Pacemaker Club wants a photo of them for our next newsletter. If you can help, contact us with your photos and tell us the year/decade from which the equipment was made.  In our next newsletter, we plan to trace the history of cardiac pacing and would like to include some old photos from members.

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
