I do use an Ipod. I never thought to make sure to not put it on my pocket.
And I know I have had the ear pieces draped over my chest when I stop listening for what ever reason. I will have to be more mindful of that.

fortunately my ears are more than 1.2 inches from my ICD!

I don't put magnets near my ICD. Headphones contain magnets, as do mobile phones and bingo wands, so I don't put them near my ICD either..

I was told that my pm is shielded and the ipods/headphone are not a problem because their magnets are so small.
