I just can't resist it, and I just have to tell you this:

I bet you won't ever do that again.

I've been shocked (medically) with 20 joules of electricity. It stopped my heart for a few seconds.

If you're ever in doubt, always call your doctor, or get seen by a ER or Urgent care physician.

Hope you get to feeling better soon, and didn't do any damage to your hardware. I'm thinking that the room you painted will have a lasting effect on you.

Anything to make life interesting, huh?

Pm's are pretty well shielded. Tasers won't hurt us, I doubt if you got hit by more than that. If you have ANY symptoms at all that it's not working right, I'd go get checked sooner rather than later.

Cleaning an outlet with a wet rag likely just jolted the hand that was holding the rag. The current had no where else to go unless you had the other hand or a bare foot in water. The only way for the pacer to be affected would be if the current passed through your torso.

The like effect on the pacer would be to reset it to fail safe mode where it just paces you at a constant HR (70 is common). If your HR changes with exercise then the pacer is OK.

If you have any concerns about it call the doctors office. Usually they can handle a phone check a few days early.
