Do clip on pedometers with a lithium battery affect the PM? I have a Sportline 350 step counter and wonder if it is safe...If unsafe how do they affect a PM?

 

 

it's fine. Lithium batteries don't have any effect on our batteries.

Magnets are what we have to watch out for. A magnet will pull the valve closed and put the pm into safety mode. As soon as the battery is removed, it opens again and goes back to full function with no harm done.

 

No problem. Even a magnet has to be very close to the pacer to affect it. I've carried HiFi speakers with large magnets in front of me with no problem.
