PM issues

Hi,
The issues that arise due to movement of your arm sound a bit troubling and I believe that your pm should be checked before Oct. I don't know much about medical protocol in BC, but I would suggest a couple options in dealing with this issue.
First I would call the doctor and explain the problem. If they do nothing, then I'd go to the next step
Next, I would contact the manufacturer of your PM and detail your issues to see what they say. I suggest you do this in writting via email or snail mail for documentation purposes. The technicians usually work directly for the manufacturer and by going through their bosses, the manufacturer, you will likely get better response.
I'd also drop the hint to the manufacturer that you're disappointed in hopw their technicians treat you and that as a member of the pacer club you have significant influence over some of their future customer base, and their decisions which devices to use when getting a replacement.
Do it diplomatically and it may just get their attention and help resolve your problem. Make sure that you al;ways document everything including verbal discussions. This helps leverage the people you're dealing with, and may be needed in the event of legal action.
Keep everyone here apprised of the progress and good luck.
Suggestion....

I see that your country of origin is UK but you also have BC listed. I can't speak for UK but in BC all you need to do is mention to your doctor what you are experiencing and he will make arrangements....or alternatively if you are connected with your pacemaker clinic you can call them directly and make an appointment ...tell them you are having difficulties and want to come in for an assessement....when I lived in Vancouver they did that for me and now living on the Island I can do the same...so don't wait until October go in now and have it investigated...weight loss or not..you are having new symptoms worthy of investigation.
Please keep us posted as to your progess....
Cheers....Mary Anne
