Anyone get up to watch the rocket hit the moon? Wasn't as spectacular as they predicted.

Actually, the scientific evidence was pretty good. They determined that the moon is indeed made of Swiss Cheese. Instead of pictures we needed audio: GLOOP

 

 

Here on the east coast I was a little excited to potentially watch it live, but it was so overcast that we couldn't even see the stars let alone the moon.
I showered and readied for work early as soon as the Today Show announced that they would be covering live footage of it.

My goodness, what a flop. The Bugs Bunny cartoon Al Roker showed was way more entertaining than the "real" thing.

At least it got me moving this morning. I've wondered all day just how much we spent on that....LOL.

 

We have managed to start to destroy this planet with our stupidity and now are we going to try and do that to the moon?

Ohhhhh that money could have been spent so much more wisely....

Leave the "Old Man in the Moon" alone....please....take care of "Mother Earth" first!

 

If they find it Los Angeles will lay claim and figure out how to run a pipeline to the moon. G(:
