I POSTED A COMMENT EARLIER ABOUT MY SON RYAN, WE LEAVE FOR DUKE HOSPITAL ON THE 9TH , MY LITTLE BOY HAS HAD A PACEMAKER SINCE 15 MN. OLD, HE HAS A 3 LEAD PACER NOW, BUT THEIR TALKING ABOUT A PACER/DEFIBRILLATOR THIS TIME, JUST WONDERING IF ANY KIDS/ TEENS HAVE THIS ALREADY.
EVEN THOUGH I JUST SIGNED BACK ON THIS SIGHT I WAS ON SEVERAL YEARS AGO WHEN RYAN WAS 7 I RECEIVED SO MUCH SUPPORT AND WAS SO THASNKFUL FOR THAT. I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME NOW, AS RYAN HAS HAD 6 HEART SURGERIES BUT I AM SO NERVOUS, SCARED, CRY EVERYDAY, AND PRAY ALOT FOR MY LITTLE BOY, I'LL BE GLAD WHEN THIS IS OVER AND WE'RE HOME.....WOULD PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM TOO, HE HAS SURGERY ON NOV. 11.09.

My daughter had lots of operations from age 8 months to 24, so I have a total understanding of what you are going through. Even though her condition wasnt life threatening, 19 times she went into the operating theatre and I had to wait hours and hours before she came into recovery, so I really do understand what it is like.

I can only say that the medical problems that my daughter had have shaped her into the fantastic young woman that she is today; she is beautiful, confident and caring.

I pray for you and your son, God bless you. Send Ryan a big kiss and tell him he is a very brave boy and very special.

I just wanted to say good luck to Ryan he is gonna do great..... I am a young person with a pacemaker. Not as young as him, I got mine at 21 and I know the stress that put on my parents. But keep positive and make it fun.... I loved the fact that I had my laptop with me in the hospital or I would have gone CRAZY of boredom. Had lots of movies to watch and I was able to get on my facebook page and keep intouch with friends, but he might be to young for facebook :-) But everything is gonna be great and I will keep him in my prayers... Please keep us all informed on how he does. And if ya need us we are here for you :-) Loves and Hugs

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PRAYERS. RYAN IS TAKING HIS DS PLAYER, GAMEBOY, DVD'S, AND HIS DAD WILL HAVE OUR LAPTOP. I HAVE GOTTON SUCH A GREAT SUPPORT SYSTEM OVER THE LAST COUPLE DAYS FROM EVERYONE ON THIS SITE IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME.
