i Had another lead and whole pacemaker change i now have a 3 lead pacemaker in feb 10 but also have to have cardioversion done in 6-8 weeks i have only just started warfarin to thin my bloods so when they do the cardioversion they have to make sure i have no blood clots as this can cause a stroke i also have arrythmia so i persume they will change your lead first then put you on anti coagulants then do a cardioversion

Apparently cardioversion is a daycase with a light general anaethestic i know a lot of people who have had this done sometimes its successful sometimes is not.

anyway good luck
