Visited a few airports and been through the screening, pat downs, etc. What about the full body scanners? Has anyone been thru this process yet? Planning a trip where I know one is in use, and whether I would have to use that thing & if there are any magnets in those. Thanks

You mean the ones that do a 3-d picture? They are perfectly safe for us! I went through one for the first time last summer in Salt Lake. I'd never seen them before and the staff was great about answering my questions before I went through it. It's a lot more efficient than the metal detectors so I found the line went a lot faster. My family went through the regular line and I was done first.

I think that when one man/woman wants to get his day shift finished and go home for tea, he will have no thought whatsoever whether a new security scan will affect your PM. Neither will the general public.

Not so, Ronaldo, if we go through it and are hurt, they are liable. They are told in their training that we can be hurt walking through a regular metal detector. The new technology is perfectly safe for pacemakers and any other metal implant
