good new yr to all ,may i ask does any one with a pm and a merchanical mitral vale get breathless on walking and if so what may be the cause ,we are still waiting for results of hubbys tests for this and cheast pain we wont get them till beging of febuary ,

 

 

but what I've experienced sounds like what your husband is going through. ask your doctor if he could wear a loop or event recorder for a month. my shortness of breath and chest pain turned out to be Junctional Rhythm.

it's worth asking the doctor about.

Put you clothes back on woman and maybe hubby won't be so breathless.

Either the PM, the valve or anyone of a dozen other things could be the cause of the shortness of breath and of course including what Pookie told you.

Why the long wait for the test results. He should have them within a week after the tests were done. Those test results are the property of the patient and the responsibility of the doctor is to give you his evaluation of them in a timely manor. If can't get that in a timely manor and more than a month is not timely, and you think you are being treated unfairly, demand a copy and find another doctor to evaluate the results
