Feb 1st is my lovely wife's birthday, and the 3rd anniversary of my open heart surgery. The following month, I received my ICD, and as my cardiologist said, my heart overhaul was complete. While not easy, smooth, or without issues, those three years have have meant so much to me and my family. It is time none of us could have hoped that we would be able to share back on that day, but are ever so greatful for.

I'm not always successful, but I try to enjoy each day and bring a little smile to those I encounter along the way. To you newbies, I recognize everything isn't roses, but for your loved ones and yourself, try to find some pleasure in each day. They go ever so fast.

 

 

A big happy b-day to your lady! I turn 25 on Feb 4th and It'll be my 9 year pm anniversary. Best wishes to you and yours, and thank you for the reflection and encuragement. Hope you party like it's 1999!
