If I read your post right you're having your pacer removed because it was improperly placed in the first place? Well yes that's annoying but surely with a skilled surgeoun and a little adjustment it can be repositioned.

If the heart problem you had the pacemaker put in for is gone then you truly are a lucky lady but if that problem is still with you? Then why would you want the pacemaker removed and not replaced?

Won't your heart just get worse and worse?

Well it's really none of my business what you do with your life but pacemakers do save lives and the inconveniences that some of them cause? Small irritations in the greater scheme of life.

Best of luck to you and truly hope it all works out for you!

Did you know....It is possible to have your pacemaker implanted in your breast? That will be my next implant. The procedure is 4 hours....a little longer than the one hour regular way....but it won't hurt anymore! It will have lots of cushion!

Ask you doctor if that's a possibility before you decide to throw in the towel. Mine hurts me too...I'm skinny so it pokes me and sticks out a lot. When my battery dies....in the breast it goes.

Please ask first.....it's worth a shot. Don't throw in the towel yet.
God Bless

The way the Dr talks, their nerve damage and their well be repair work where the pm was put. it lookes like it turned over, The reson My old Md. wanted me to get it was my heart rate was 40-mid 50s, At the small town Hospital they over druged me, then sent me to LV to a biger hospital when I get their the ER Dr. couldn`t do any thing but watch me.I`v had 12 operation and a lot of broken bones and a stake drove threw me ( horse fell with me) I have a very bad white coat problem, So Drs, Hospital, I have a very high blood presher, and they want to treat that instead of what I go see them for.Even when I carry a book telling them. I`m 118/65, p 45 Oh it get uo to 132/70 p 69
sence the pm been put in it a lot higher and I don`t feel
very well
