Well, I’m home from our family trip to Disney. I was unable to post during my stay because of a computer problem.

The boys, Rachel and I had a great time. We visited four Disney parks and SeaWorld. My sons are nine and eleven and love all things extreme, especially wild rides. Name a wild ride and we rode it. Our favorite ride was the Rock n Roll Aerosmith Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios. It would go from zero to 60 miles per hour in less than 3 seconds. The ride was in the dark and flipped you around like being in a washer machine. My heart and pacemaker actually performed better than my nerves and weak stomach.

The temperatures were quite cold, but being from Canada we did swim a few days. The pool was warmer than bath water. The parks were not busy so we did not wait in many lines. The longest was 15 minutes. Thanks Tracey for recommending we go in March!

You're a braver soul than I am, Blake! I stick to more conventional stuff on vacations. Last time we were at Disney I pushed No. 2 son around in the stroller while Daddy and No. 1 had all the fun. Enjoyed Cape Canaveral and Sarasota circus museum more. Don't know if you read our posts about your trip while you were gone but I'm guessing you did not find the earring or the dingy yellow blankie?? Glad you all enjoyed the trip! Lenora

 

Sounds like great family time. Congrats! I am really glad your computer had problems. I love it when there is no fax (other than front desk) and no computer - then it really is a vacation LOL :-)))))))

A well deserved vacation too. Looks like everyone had so much fun. Thanks for sharing with us. Since I do not/will not fly, this is great way of getting a glimpse of Florida and what it offers.

Now, in the pic. with Goofy, which one is on the left? Can't quite make it out, Blake or Goofy. Just kidding, you know that. LOL

I was wondering if the cold weather was messing up your vacation, last week was way below average for us. Should have known you crazy Canadians would think it was a heat wave and go swimming! Glad you had a great time, you deserved it. Disney is magical for the kids, the big ones and the little ones.

 

11 months ago I was sure my Disney days were done. Thanks to you, I have re-kindled my hope that I'll be out there again. Love those rides!
