Hi everyone,
I'm sick of being in the hospital which should be a sign that I'm getting better, but I'm not getting out of here any time soon. They have had a cardiologist see me today to assess the need for a pacer and according to him I do. They were originally going to send me to the hospital where my cardiologist is, but i really don't want to move again now that I'm stable. I'm comfortable here and this is a top notch cardiac facility that has all the stuff my hospital would have. I questioned this a lot since I do trust my cardioloigist and I know following me after pacer would be easier if I just had it done there, but the doctor here said that even if they do iut, I would have to come back to the hospital here for physio and rehab so I would rather stay. I discussed this with my family and my doctor here and they agreed with my reasons and the cardiologist agreed today and he will talk to my cardiologist. They are going to have EP see me next week.
Now to bring you up to speed further. I'm having my first leg gratf surgery on Monday to help the healing process. It looks good, but according to the doctors, it really needs to be grafted. They say only 2 grafting surgeries permitting that the grafts take. I'm feeling OK. They took me off the BP medication today and so far so good. I was up and walking a lot the last couple of days with physio and got to go downstairs and eat real food for lunch today. what they serve here could be criminal.
Bram is doing good. He has some fluid on his lungs and they aren't sure why. He has been getting fevers again so he is not able to visit me although he has been sneeking in especially at night and staying on the other side of the room with a mask.
Anyways, very tired and still weak, but doing OK. Talk to you later.

I know I have a choice and because of everything that has happened to me over the last few weeks and how critical I was/am I have decided to stay at the hospital where I am. I have been in this hospital for over a week because of a severe infection that took over my body. My doctors here agree that I'm safer to stay here than try to endure a ride in an ambulance to another hospital and possibly have complications en route.
