Pacemaker shock!

Hi, i'm only 15 and I had to have a pacemaker fitted on the 31st of December 2009 because I passed out randomley several times in a year. I had to get checked out as I don't want to pass out behind the wheel in a few years time! I had a 24 hour monitor on a first which told me I dropped beats at night, then from that I had to have it on for a week! They still couldn't figure it out so I then had to have an implant to monitor my heartbeat for up to 2 years, the main aim was to see what happened when I passed out. Anyway I did and got the information downloaded. It turns out my heart slowed from 110bpm right down to 40bpm in about 30 seconds before stopping for 4 seconds then having a beat then a further 19 seconds then a couple of beats and another 4 1/2 seconds. I thought it was a good passing out too - I was fine within half an hour! So I had to have a pacemaker fitted the next day. I had to miss new year!!

So now I have a duel chamber pacemaker, most the lads think my scar is cool which makes me feel better about it! So upset I can't go on the dodgems though!

dodgems are soooooo overrated anyway, just wait until you get your porche!

Good thing they found out your problem at a young age, they didnt find mine until i was 55.
