Hello to my new friends.
I am nominating Gretchen and Melissa as my famous members for their quick response to my problem. I was worried that I could not sleep on my stomach or side with a defibrillator and so had put off the implant. I will set it up now that I know it can be done. Thank you so much!

I'm really just a newbie - I've only had my defibrillator since November - so I'm still just learning and far from having all the answers.
As much as I love coming here and reading responses, I still think asking your doctor is your best bet. Everybody's situation is different, so what works for one person, may not be the best answer for another.
And even if the doc tells you you'll never sleep on your stomach or side again -- GET THE DEFIB IF THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED -- and learn to sleep on your back!! Save your family the heartache of losing you, especially if you have the power to prevent it.
All will be okay!
Melissa
