There's no telling how long Dorothy and I walked.
Man, we must have walked for miles. Along the way we picked up some straggler who was scared of his own shadow. He was even scared of the road that we walked on. Then we rescued and took pity on this scarecrow. Boy, was he a mess, and I thought I was in bad shape. His straw was strewn everywhere. Talk about someone wearing their heart on their sleeve. He did. He was so clueless and didn't understand anything. It was like talking into one ear and it coming out the other. So dumb. I wondered why, but Momma taught me to always be nice to people regardless of their abilities.
We walked for miles. We went through some pretty scary situations. We finally saw the wizard who claimed he could help. They strapped me down to this table, gave me drugs that made me feel loopy. Was I really turning into the scarecrow?
The roads we've walked down. The things we've seen. I don't know about you, but I've walked many miles with Dorothy to get my heart, and the wizard doesn't accept returns. I lost my receipt a LONG time ago anyways.
What a long, strange trip it's been,
Angelie

The long walk down the road less travelled, What a trip with Dorothy, meeting the scraggly, "dumb" man, "walking for miles through some pretty scary situations", not to mention the other characters ~ ~
Sounds like you were visiting the "ice cave" I have been down the road to several times since 3/08. Yes, they do "strap you down to this table, give out drugs" which make you "take the road less travelled" thru the "loopy" feeling.

Seeing how I love the Wizard of Oz & the Dead, I enjoyed your story.
Hope you're continuing to heal & come to terms with your PM.

Very good story! I too have walked a long way to find a heart :-) I go for surgery tomorrow at 8 am to have the CRT-D implanted under the pectoral muscle. All wish me luck as I admit I am frightened, but when you have had so much done to your heart ... all is frightening. Talk with all soon.
