Coping, Survivor, and Long Term PM patient
Posted by repwork on 2010-05-24 00:54

I have gone through several PMs and would like to offer help or assistance to other PM patients. I feel like I would have a lot of experience in dealing with people concerning their PMs and the related issues, problems, and concerns. I can be found on Facebook under my name, Charles Edward Nobles and would invite other PM patients (young and old). I have had more than nine PMs, Open Heart Surgery, and Coarctation of the Aorta. I would be willing to chat, email, or talk on the phone to anyone that would be needing someone else for advice and/or encouragement........

I don't understand

I believe that I've read a post similar to this one, if not a duplicate of one you've posted previously.

I don't understand your logic in getting others away from this site to offer advice or support. THIS IS THE SITE FOR ADVICE AND SUPPORT. Not that people can't get support that they need from other web connections, but I just don't understand why you don't share some of your extensive history here. If you share some of your expertise on this website than others might be able to get some benefit from it, instead of just that one person that follows your bait.

It would be a great benefit to us all if you used some of your expertise here and answer some of the people's questions in this forum. I'm sure we could all learn something from your extensive history. There are a lot of others here that have have their pacemakers since they were children and are up to about as many replacements as you have gone through.

Welcome to this forum. Don't be so shy,
Angelie

repwork, thank you for offering to help out anyone in the PM Club. With your knowledge and expertise you graciously offer, I would think the PM Club members would prefer you advise and talk with them through the PM Club and share with everyone who would be interested in your expertise since you are already here.

I would like to know why you have had so many PM implants in your few, short years since 1970? My interest would be in you and your medical needs and history. Your above statements sounds like you are well qualified to share with the PM Club your history.

This is not to sound or be rude, but since YOU are a member of the PM Club, please share with us on our website. Facebook/email/personal websites is not like sharing your knowledge with us who are already PM members, by choice, & this is not our VISION.

Thanks for all your posts/comments in the future. Thanks for wanting to share all your knowledge & expertise with the PM members. Maybe even some of our "tenured", experienced, educated PM members can share with you and us of their knowledge/expertise.

Looking forward to your future 'posts',
Carolyn G. in TEXAS ~ Cool Pools, Peanuts & 'Punch"
