Hi everyone,
Well I have had my pacemaker 17days now and am due to start back at work tomorrow. I am so nervous. I have been feeling a bit better the last few days although still feeling very tired and at times sore especially when I try to over do it.
Am feeling very nervous about tomorrow I am an assistant deputy manager in an army nursery working with children aged 1-3 yrs. I know im not allowed to pick them up and have to be very careful, just worried I might forget if one of them cries my instinct will be to pick them up or they might climb on me.
Hope everyone is okay.

You can't pick them up, but you can sit down and hold them! Good luck on your first day back. Check in and let us know how it goes.

Well today was my first day back, it went okay, although i am extremly tired forget how tiring chasing around after 19 1-3 year olds can be. Other than one child coming up to me and bumping my pm site which hurt so much i had no other problems.
Hope everyone has had a good day

I am questioing about going back to work also - I am a R.N. in a NICU, and there is no light duty work at all - they didn't cut me any slack before my pm, and I know they won't when I come back - with the 5lb lifiting restriction, I don't know how I can even feed our feeder/grower babies .....
