She needs a name
Posted by wenditt on 2010-07-16 00:26

So I've come to the point in my PM drama where I am ready to name "it." LOL

Looking for suggestions. Need something sassy, hilarious, kid friendly and perhaps a bit sarcastic! LOL....

Not sure if I want to give it a human name or a nickname.

Would love some sassy suggestions!

Sassy is our middle name!!!!!

I am embarrassed to admit I do not have a sassy name for mine. I call it my titanium buddy. My dad has titanium rods in his back, mom calls us the titanium twins. Usually with an eye roll in the middle of a hike when she thinks we're trying to kill her, lol.

How bout ~

Wild Thing - it makes your heart sing

Mrs. Wizard - works with smoke and mirrors

Tattle Tale - Gives up everything when interrogated

Sparky - electric sparks that fly when it paces you

Tin Man - He needed a heart in Wiz of Oz and it's metal

Hey, give me a break, it's hard for me to come up with family oriented names.

You mean Wenditt just got her MC license? Did any of the PM bikers tell her she has to switch over to the PM model with a kick starter?

Oooops we

forgot to tell her....LOL but if you ride a Japanese bike, no kick starters...only OLD Harleys have kick starters and we who ride the newer bikes call them "kick to start"..LOL Sorry Harley bikers, I know I'll hear from ya now....but ALL BIKES ARE COOL. Sue (biker chick besides pacer chick)

when I was exclaiming to them the ins and outs and whys of my pacemaker I had said "basically the messages aren't getting through to my heart to speed up and/or to beat which means my secretary isn't doing her job to get my massages through to my heart so my PM will ensure it by sending it's own (I have NeuroCardiogenic Syncope type Cardio Inhibitory 2B with Asystole)
So with that they named my PM Priscilla and here we are 7 weeks later :o)

LOL

I never thought about naming mine at all. I have had one for almost 26 years. I always said it was either 1st,2nd,3rd, or 4th.

Pacemakers have Sexes???

What??? .you have a pacemaker that is a "she".......I didn't know they came in different sexes......maybe thats what happened to me.......I was full of muscles, and energy.....then the pacemaker/defib was implanted and all of a sudden I'm all mellow and nice..they must have put in one of those girly pacemaker /defib's in me instead of the He-man unit..........j/k.......How's that for a joke Tracey??..........lol............

I've suggested Wilson to several people, you know that lonely volleyball on that Tom Hanks movie he always talked to, also Ticker, Thumper, Tickler, and so on, I have called mine many names ( not pacemaker site worthy), expecially after getting defibrillated twice by it, but I still call it Zappy....but anymore zaps and I'm calling it scrap metal.....

I wish this site had spell check........I get in a hurry and my ginfers get ganteld pu......or my dyslexia is coming back......

Glad your girl has a name now. Mine is Mr. Jingles. It is after the little mouse in the Green Mile by Stephen King. Sounds a little weird, but I always think of mine being old fashion like a mouse or hamster on a wheel making my little electic generator work. My Grand Son helped with it too. I have a picture I put a mouse coming out of a door in my chest, it is pretty funny. I sent it out when I first got mine. Keep your "wild thing" going.

Names

I thought of something else. It is funny how the women call theirs women's names or neutral names and the guys call theirs manly names. I guess a woman would not want to name theirs a guy name since we can't even get directions right or follow instructions very well. I guess it might miss a beat or two and not do what it was told if it were a guy, Huh!

I think Mr. Jingles is a fantastic name! And I think you are right....a manly name might not get the job done 100% of the time LOL....just kidding!

I've been married one time to the same woman for 24 years, and one thing I've learned...listening to my idiot employees.......if I ever did mess around on my wife, I'd be smart enough to get a girlfriend with the same name.......so in the heat of the moment with either one, I'd always be sure of yelling out the right name...........tada........son of a preachers daughter.......
