Welcome to our exclusive little club, so glad you stopped by with some questions.
A little bit of redness on the scar this soon after the implant is normal. However if it feels hot to the touch or changes or you see streaks then contact your Cardiologist right away, that could be a sign of an infection.
It's difficult to envision exactly what you are describing regarding the lump. Are you by chance feeling the leads that come out of the top of your pacer and go into your heart? I can feel my leads where they meet the device and they definitely could be described as a lump.
The headaches you want to run by the Cardiologist, but I get them and it's due to improved blood flow into my brain, well that and thinking for the first time. Mine are pretty intense, but dissipate very quickly on their own, I guess when I stop thinking.
Again welcome

I too have funny bumps on the ends of my scar. It has been 26 days with my PM. To me it looks like they sewed me together funny and didn't match the seam.
I also had to redness and very sore last week. turned out to be the start of an infection. Antibiotics cured it very quickly so don' t let that go to long with out having it checked.
I too have had a few headaches. Is is the blood flow? Could be. I actually feel more clear headed since my PM.

Everybody feels differently about having a PM. I have gotten use to it after almost 26 years with one implanted. I don't tell everybody that I have one only the ones that really care about me. I just jumb back into my regular life when I get a new one implanted. The ones around me take care of me and not let me do anything that I shouldn't do. I recommend you get back to what you were doing before the PM. Soon you won't know that it is there.
It you are concerned about your scar go and talk to the doctor and see if it is an infection. Honestly I haven't had any problem with any of my PMS except for the battery getting low.

Welcome to our group. Glad to have you pacing with us all. The others are right. I also have had a bit of infection, have bumps from scar tissue, headaches, and so forth. You should keep your physician posted on all. They should be adjusting you to get used to the new device. It may take a few months depending how you heal and tolerate pain and etc. Glad you are doing pretty good though and Welcome again.
I will say a prayer for your rapid recovery and well being.
