This is what Mayo Clinic sent me home with after a transesophageal echo they would not do a pulmonary ablation because they found two 2.5cm linear, mobile densities attached to RA lead in right atrium. Diagnosis thrombus or vegetation. They did some blood cultures and want my blood to be thinner and have my Dr at home take care of it and come back in 2 months. Has anybody had this?

Sorry, but I can't help as I don't know what linear, mobile densities are let alone what an RA lead is.

I was to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota back in February of 2007 and I must say WOW, what care & compassion I was given. I have a very odd defect in my heart - it's called Left Ventricle Noncompaction which basically means the Left Ventricle was never formed or grew correctly. However, with that being said, my Ejection Fraction is 62%. My doctors here in Canada had never seen it before, so that is why I was sent there.

I'm guessing that you could have a clot as I think that is what thrombus means??? But what is vegetation when it relates to the heart???
