Good News
Posted by nvphone on 2010-08-07 00:36

This is just from the tech or nurse who did my stress test today, but still good news I think.
I had the chemical stress test as they said my pacer will not allow me to hit my traget heart rate. But, I felt like I had ran 20 miles after it.
No sign of my RBBB which I have had all my life as far as I can recall.
Just wanted to be able to post something good for once.
On the 20th I go back for full test results and pacer download which was my request to see how it felt about the test for me.
I took more control today, ask tons of on going questions and that helped me the person.

That's the way to go.

Keep in mind that there is no reason why they can't run you on the treadmill. All they have to do is set the pacer limits high enough for you to reach the target rate. They tend to do the chemical test more for convenience than necessity.

You may need to ask for a run on the treadmill to verify the pacer settings.
