Can that be true, that in this day and age you can not find Pacemakerclub on Facebook? Think of how many potential members there may be around the world. I am from Denmark and there is no pacemakerclub here.

More than 11,000 + PM members are on this website.
Glad to have you as a member. I think you will enjoy the closeness of the PM Families who you 'post/chat' with. We share experiences, knowledge & laughs.
There probably are not any single, one, PM Club in Denmark. This one PM Club is for everyone all over the World. There are over 11,000 + members of the PM Club all over the World, including Denmark. Read the history background of this PM Club website. Blake is the founder and comes from years and years of experience in all kinds of heart conditions.
Thank You Blake for keeping our PM Club a website which still feels like 'Home, Family and Friends'.

There is a group for Facebookers with Bradycardia called the Brady Bunch if you want to check it out.
There are also a few other Pacemaker groups.
Only few members on Facebook groups

I found one pm group on FB with 100 members. The Brady Bunch has 32 members. What I am looking for is a FB link to this site so more people can get together in one very competent area - as Carolyn pointed out Blake has done a remarkable job with this homepage. Why not make more people aware of this?

How about calling this site Pacebook? For something as unique as having a pacer a site such as this is really better than a Facebook page.

Pacemaker Forum on Craigslist

I just staked out an unlisted forum on Craigslist. I chose the discussion forum number 7223 because those numbers are associated with the word PACE on a telephone.

I am logged in from the San Francisco area. You can log in from anywhere. Pick any active discussion forum and change the forumID= to 7223
At the top of your screen toward the left, choose "all" (as opposed to your home town). This allows you to view posts from anywhere, not just your hometown.
Drop in and say hi.

I kind of like it here! Feels nice, people are nice, etc.
I would even be willing to pay a small fee to help pay hosting costs, etc.
I like it here too

Although I am presently using FaceBook, I just find this site more comfortable...like going to a friend's place and chatting. It's like family here.
Everyone has their own preferences....I just don't think I could leave this place which I consider to be "home" :)
But I am glad there are other forums too.
Cheers,
Pookie

I did not mean that this site should change at all. The idea of ALSO being on Facebook is to spread the word that this is where we get the information and find nice people. To lead people this direction.
I think it would be worth a try for Beckes76 to start a Facebook group. The point is to deliver the message to people around the world that Pacemaker Club is the place to turn when in need of support.

Hello everyone
Here is a name of a group on Facebook for those of you that feel like joining. So far only 120 members but it's a very nice group. It is a supplement to this wonderful site - not a replacement :-)
