Help...I don't feel well!!!
Posted by Janey L on 2010-08-17 12:41

Hi. I'm 3 weeks post ablation today for focal atrial tachycardia. I am feeling very unwell this afternoon (UK). I was ok this morning but since walking over the road to the shops this afternoon, I've had terrible chest pain. It won't go away. My chest really hurts. I've had a few "funny rhythms" too, just 2-3 beats out of sequence. Feel a bit dizzy when I get them. I feel absolutely exhausted yet I've not done very much today. The chest pain goes up into my neck too.

I am SO scared! I know this sounds weird but I'm actually too scared to go to A&E! I keep thinking the chest pain will go off, but it's been there a few hours now.

Did anyone else get these symptoms post ablation? Please help.

Thanks
Janey

You must go straight to A&E and get checked out. Go there now. It may be nothing but you must get it checked

Go to A&E. Don't drive, call an ambulance. Chest pain is nothing to mess around with, better go and be told it's nothing than not go and be wrong.
