Hi every one!!! I have been off for a while. I just wanted to say thank you for those who still thought about me once in a while and send me messages. I appreciate your concern for me. I have had my ups and downs lately with my heart. Seems to stop at times and make me a lttle dizzy. Nothing new. But i hate the feeling. Also, been havin trouble being active. I cant even sit at a theather or restaurant for a long time because just doing that makes me feel very fatigued. I know i just gotta live with it. But i do get annoyed. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and hope you are all doing well. God blesss.

Fatigue

I don't know your diagnosis and I'm still fairly new to the forum. I have DCM and know the frustration with fatigue. If I plan on dinner out or movie, I do my best to relax, rest, nap on day of and day before. I try not to use all my strength getting ready. I shower in the morning; rest; do the hair; rest; and so on. I set my own limits on how long I'll be out so that it doesn't become apparent that I'm exhausted. Even though it usually takes me a few days to recover from getting out and about, it really helps my spirit to be able to feel "normal" and do the normal things I did prior to diagnosis, even if it is just for a couple of hours. I sit and rest and nap afterwards, but I have something else to think about. Hang in there,
Cammy

Hi, Sure happy to see you back. Guess we all get reminded who we miss as the gallery image is a constant reminder as we go over the postings. Very clever as we also get reminded of loses in the past, some we'll always remember their history. Mainly we all need each other's support to make our days brighter.
Thank You for the update. donb

Need replacement?

Hi Brokenheart,
I haven't been on here a long time myself. I felt exactly what you described when my pacer battery was low and it went to single lead mode (Sept 2004). I had just had a pacer check in August 2004 and was told my battery had 19 months to go only 1 month later I could hardly lift an arm without being out of breath. Is it possible you need a battery replacement? That's what it sounds like to me. I would suggest you get it checked ASAP. I hope you're feeling better VERY soon!

replacement?

Hi. thank you all for ressponding to me. I have no idea if my battery needs to be replaced...last time i went and got checked doc told me i still had about 4 years left on it. Im hoping its not time to replace it so soon. I better make another appt to make sure. Well i had supraventricular tachycardia and was ablated but unfortunately not fixed and caused complete heart block. I still have atral tachycardia with pvcs and skipped beats and vasovagal disease. Plus high blood pressure and migraines....how fun!!! Anyway, i totally try to rest up when i know i want to go out. It sucks tho because all my friends know when i am tired...and call it a night because of me...saying my eyes look tired. Even just talking a lot makes me fatigued.
