Interesting that you should ask that....I wasn't sure myself..so I started doing some checking....within this forum there is a good dicussion on this very topic it's titled "Laptop Computer" dated March 17th 2008. It would appear that anything that has magnetic or radio frequency has to have a warning on it for the minute possibility that for some people there could be interference and hence a problem...I know for myself I don't have problems with laptops or wireless ...but put my near a cell tower and my pacer goes crazy...best thing is if you get symptoms to remove yourself from the source. My answer to you is if in doubt check with your PM manufacturer and see what they have to say. Good luck and keep us posted....cheers!

Hello, I just posted this question last week. Check with the manufacturer. I called mine on the pacemaker card, there should be a 800 number. I have a Guidant. The rep checked my model #, serial # and the year, its all on the card. They were very helpful, it ok with me, but check, since its a service for you.

I just got hearing aids that have blue tooth incorporated into the hearing aid and requires a transmitter box to be near the hearing aid. They actually give you a lanyard to wear around your neck.

the device works just like the earpieces that you see people wearing except that it is a box about 3"x1" that transmits to my hearing aids.

I have not had any problems with my PM. I usually use the Blue tooth only in the car and I actually attach it to my shoulder belt which is directly above my PM. I am quite surprised there is no interference.

I also use a wireless laptop every day--also no problems.
