Hi I have had my pm for 11years. At times it does feel like it is moving. Sometimes the pocket tissue loosens up. Try not laying on the side at nite. It cant come out from what I have read and asked. It just kinda slides alittle and if I lay on my left side too long at nite,I does feel different in the morning. I hope this helps.

After having 11 open heart surgeries, I can no longer sleep on my stomach like I used to and with my PC I cannot lay comfortably on my left side as well. So I got a body pillow 6 years ago and it works wonders laying on my right side. It gives great support to my chest and body, maybe you can try this out to support your pacer.
With a bad heart, I find that I am always out to invent a new way to enjoy sleep. =D
Peace,

I'm 25yrs old and had my pacemaker implanted in Nov 07. I have lots of movement when I lift my arm, sleep, etc. The pacemaker is very noticable as I am thin and while sleeping will move over my collar bone and the top of it rubs against it. I talked to my cardi and he indicated that the surgeon did not suture the pacer to the pocket to allow lots of movement as a result of my age and changing body with possible pregnancy etc. It is normal for extra movement and with it comes increased discomfort :( if truly concerned see your doc.
