Attitude

Agree with TraceyE, attitude is everything!

I think all of us who have these wonderful little computers in our bodies have had the ultimate attitude adjustment knock up side the head. (-:

I too feel that my life should have more purpose now because I was given a second chance at it. It also means for me absolutely no more "to do lists" of unimportant things to do.

But there is one main "to do" list now which is always priority.... Laugh more and enjoy life!!!! --- And when you find yourself complaining about your situation? Stop those thoughts in your head and replace them with the good thoughts of how lucky we all are to be here thanks to the modern technology of pacemakers.

Hit the delete key on the negative thoughts and hit enter on the positive thoughts. That action will put a smile on your face for sure.

Best to all

Magster

Amen, sistah! Attitude most definitely is everything!!!! I've said it a million times but I'll say it yet again- every day is a give and all of us here have been given a lot of gifts. Life may not be perfect, but we're here and that itself is a blessing.

you are right

i am here and altho it isn't perfect it is mine and i am human and i being human make mistakes as a human never mind what is my lif'e's work. i also made some mistakes with my children and my grandchildren.it is important to belong to a family. when that goes it can only mean a bad situation with no connections. so my suggestion is to try making things better. don't take advantage of people and treat the young as valued jewels. also no drinking in my house. sorry i was going to say 2 drink limit but i don't know if people can stick to that. so no drinks. go to a bar and then come home and go to bed.

Because of my back injuries (fixed now) and cracked rib, have had lots of time in bed ruminating and reading. Attitude is everything. To me the glass isn't half empty or half full. It's refillable. And resentment and anger and self pity on choke the heart's energy more. I should know. I'm also an energy worker.

When I'm lying in bed, I imagine a sweet white healing light misting my heart like pixie dust. Followed by pink light . . . the light of expansiveness and love. You may not believe in energy work, but who dares not to believe in pixie dust?

When I was lying there on the sidewalk trying to breathe and waiting for an ambulance, I promised my heart I would never smoke another cigarette. Being in the hospital or a week made that easy. I'm keeping my promise. Never had such strong motivation to not smoke in my life. As Dylan said so knowledgeably: I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.

Happy pixie dust to you all.

i will remember the pixie dust
