Relief band follow up

With my ep's approval, I ordered a relief band to test out. That's the tens bracelet for motion sickness that I posted about last week.

My heart rate stayed steady with it turned on. It also stayed steady when I put it directly over my device. Since I'll be wearing it for a sailing trip I wanted to make sure it would be ok if I accidentally got it too close in my sleep, and it was fine. I used my oximeter. Rate remained unchanged and zero symptoms with it turned off, turned on, directly over my device.

Next, to try it in the car! See if it works as well as advertised.

Good news so far

Tracey, please could you post a link of the exact bracelet you purchased in due course after fully testing it of course in the car?  If it works, or partially works, it would be a great help.  Thank you

Tracey, do tell us how it works.  I'm always very skeptical about such things (too much snake oil on the market) but  even thought it would be anecdotal, I would like to know if there is something to this.  🙂

it works!

It works GREAT!!

It's not really snake oil, it's science that the nerve in the wrist goes to the part of the brain that also controls how we handle motion.

First flight was short and smooth, but I felt good with it and was able to read. Usually I stick to games because reading can make me sick. That wasn't much of a test. My daughter's backseat in rush hour on the beltway was a better test! I felt fine, even using my phone. Flight back was a lot of turbulence, still felt good. I'm amazed.

It feels weird. It cycles on and off and feels like bugs on the palm of my hand. But that beats having the driver pull over so I can puke any day of the week. ;o)

will send this in a pm also since the post is buried now.
