You know you're wired when...
You fondly named your implanted buddy.

The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.

Beta blockers can lower BP as well as make the heart beat slower, but this is a question best answered by his doctor. I'm sure the doctor is aware of his low BP and if he is not you should make it your business to make him aware. I'm curious though, why is your father getting a pacemaker?
