Hospital coverup?

I have home nurses taking care of this pc wound site. One of the head nurses said there was going to have to be a administratration "discussion" on the procedure and the extreme infection that followed. All the lawyers are now starting to call about possible legal action. I'm just happy to be alive and mending so I can have the proper pm installed.There sure is a lot of buzz around the attending Dr's actions and his comments to me. What to do? What to do?

Hey Cowboy,

You want my suggestion? Talk to a lawyer (not necessarily one of those calling) and get one you know if possible and let that lawyer guide you. I don't advocate suing the Dr. or hospital every time something happens to us that we question, but in this case you may need to speak with an attorney, whether you want to sue or not. That is if all the ruckus you indicate is happening is because of treatment or maltreatment you received. In that case you are involved whether you want to be or not, so IF IT WERE ME I would want someone smarter than me in on this advising me.

Just remember that the momoent they get a call from a lawyer, they are through talking and or sharing information with you. Try to gather all the records you can before you call the lawyer. Good Luck
