Sick

Hello folks, I have been sick for more than a couple of weeks now. Not too serious, just my tummy rumbling and feeling very cold. Yesterday I began to "toss my cookies" I have dropped 7 pounds in a weeks time and went to the dr. today. I am very sick with "flu like symptoms" I don't have the flu.. the dr ran test. My immune system has gone into overdrive according to the test they performed. I was so dehydrated that I was given IV fluids. I am now back home awaiting the test results. I feel awful, I keep getting sick and I am feeling so sad. Every time I get sick my dog sits at my feet and it makes me cry. I keep trying to think positive, but I feel so bad I actually began to think of all the people I love who have died. I need to get my thoughts turned around and think positive... like this won't last and "they" will figure it out and I will get better!
I hope you will forgive me for being so down tonight...

Thoughts!

Oh I had the start of it two months ago and am finally over it. I thought it was the flu also but it wasn't. I still don't know what it was but it was horrific. In two months I lost 10 pounds without trying. For me I looked at the positive in I lost some weight. I know it's no fun though but try your hardest to keep fluids in that body of yours. I am praying for you and thinking of you so much.
Love ya dear,
Tammy

Hi Pacergirl,
I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Hang in there and be strong as bad as it may seem you'll get through it. It's tough to hear you sounding so down. I'm sure before long you'll be back to your old self. I can't wait for your great sense of humor to come back.
Take care of yourself.
I'll be thinking of you,
Bob

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.
