Sleeping on the pacemaker side

Okay, I'm currently able to finally sleep on my left side. But then I wondered is that a problem. Did anyone ever tell any of you not so sleep on your implant side?

No one has ever told me not to. Once you;ve healed and if it feels comfortable to you, you're not going to damage anything by simply laying on your left side...

As long as it doesn't hurt, go for it! I sleep on my pm side all night, every night.

I couldn't sleep on my pacer side for two months, just last week I was able to sleep there but still if I roll over a little too much one way or the other it feels uncomfortable and the pacer itself feels like I am squeezing it.

One more for the "No one told me not to" group. Depending upon how I laid, I was able to sleep on my left side right away. I did or didn't depending upon how it felt at the time and most of the time I didn't until there had been enough healing time.

Sleep...

Oddly enough, 4 months in, I have more trouble with sleeping on my right side (implant on left side). My pacemaker seems to flip up funny and push on the muscle when laying on the right...I can practically touch the underside of my pacer in that position..very weird...but, I can comfortable sleep on my left side and my stomach...no problem...

You know you're wired when...

Like the Energizer Bunny, you keep going.
