Queen of Sheba

I am very happy to announce that my sweet dear hubby of 39 years has come through once again and saved the day. I think of my hubby as the Super Hero in my life... well most of the time anyway. He has really come around and tries so hard to make me happy.

He has re-wired the phone system, installed the jacks, set up "Merlin" for me and has me now on-line. I am official. He had me rest on the bed as he did all this. That's right, all I did was lay on the bed looking much like the Queen of Sheba as he did all this work for me! What a delight it is to watch a man at work lol.

So, I am all set up. No worries, no problem. ahhhh now a good nights sleep. You might be thinking to yourself... "What a spoiled woman"... and I say to that " You are totally right in thinking that". He he... I am a very spoiled woman and I am not afraid to admit it!

Have a great day, and remember have some fun today!

He's a keeper alright

Lucky gal! Mine did 2 things for me after my surgery. He made me dinner once... a burnt grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of tomato soup (heated straight from the can w/ no liquid), and he took a library book back for me since I couldnt drive. And he bitched about it for an hour! LOL But he's a keeper too. He went to work everyday, told me he loves me & always kissed me goodnight. He's a good provider, an even greater father and as Meatloaf says "Two out of three ain't bad"!!!! Right???? LMAO I think I'll keep him tho. Guess we both are pretty lucky gals.;>)

Enjoy the special treatment while you are getting it. You deserve to be treated a s the Queen of Sheba.

Keep all the good, educated advice coming to the PM Club. Keep us posted if the land line works when used.

39 years with the same hubby? You & Hubby both should recieve an "award". The chances of having the same hubby now for more than 5 years is amazing.

Bless my husband's Soul. We were married 42 years. I sure miss his "Queen of Sheba" touch.

Bless You, Carolyn G. in TEXAS ( :

Well you're both lucky to have one another!

My husband and I have known each other 29 years and will be married 20 in October. We still finish each other's sentences and we both have a great sense of humor which is probably why we never fight.

There's a reason for being married for so long. I'm going on 27 years with my husband. Good men are hard to find. Just ask my daughters, lol.

My honey and I will celebrate our 50 anniversary next month. He is the best husband. He has always encouraged me in whatever I wanted to do, painting, dog training, knitting, and my practice of tai chi chuan since 1991. When I was so ill with CHF and got my CRT-D in 2009 he was nearly always at the hospital. I was so sick and strung out on meds I don't remember seeing his face but I could hear him and his voice was a wonderful anchor for me. Now he may lose his leg from diabetes and will have surgery tomorrow to see if they can switch the artery for a vein and bring blood flow back to his leg. We are both hanging in there but it is pretty stressful. We are so lucky when we find the right person and can be together. I know I won't have another 50 years with him but I wish I could.

Carolyn, thank you for your kindness. I know you must miss your husband terribly. I shall keep you in my prayers dear friend.

DanaT, you are so right, good husbands are hard to find. I have 3 daughters and 1 good son-in-law. I give thanks for him everyday. My other daughters are single. Thank you for you kind post.

I received a schedule today about doing my "Uploads" Now you tell me.... What exactly is an Upload? I haven't had any calls, information, mail? from anyone and I am supposed to "Upload" on Labor day. I will figure it out, but my goodness a little info would be welcome.
