icd removed
Hi everyone on 8/10/10 my device was removed. On8/11/10 I got a new heart so far all is good with the transplant. Went from an ef of 10 t0 15 now 65 feel great a little tired but no pain at all.

Wow...sounds very good. One month since transplant and you are back on the Boards. How long were you on the transplant list? EF of 65 already is a NICE improvement. I can't believe you're not in any pain. Feel free to share the details of your transplant and all the good, bad and ugly.

Congrats on your new heart. My husband had a heart transplant Feb 4, 2008 (super bowl sunday) at Vanderbilt. His heart is doing great. He has only had one mild rejection and that was early on due to the doctors trying to back off the prednisone too early. Now he is off the prednisone totally. He is on Prograff and Myfortic for his rejection drugs. If interested I can share another website with you that is for transplant recipiants. Just send me a message and I will send you the address. congratulations you have no idea how nice it is to read storys like this i am so happy for you ,,,iv had my icd for about two an half years and am looking at getting a transplant soon i am very scared i have two small children that i would like to see grow up so reading about you gives me hope ,,,,,,stay strong,,,
