Outstanding checkup!

That's right after the year I have had I am so happy to share that I just had an excellent doctor visit!

I have had a stress test and a heart echo. Had my new pacemaker interrogated and everything is clicking and humming along as it should!

I asked about my medications, (no change) I asked about my old pacemaker... as in "Where is it?" (they seemed to have lost it). The EP asked me if I knew the serial number and I said "sure" and said that I could email it to him if he needed it. He said no that was ok. It has just occurred to me that he probably asked me that question because he was going to send me one he had instead of the one that I actually used! He was very curious as to why I wanted it in the first place.

I am pacing at 67% of the time and in my upper chambers most of the time. That means that 43% of the time my heart is doing it's job. I am doing much better!

They then asked me what changes that I have made in my life during the last 5 years.... Here is what I replied....

1. Reduce stress, anxiety and change of attitude.
2. Made a job change.
3. Bought the car I always wanted, a convert. beetle! yippee!
4. Realized that I control me... and that is all I have to control
5. I declare that I LIKE ME! and MY HUBBY likes me and so does my Mom and Dad.
6. I make sure that whatever I am doing, that it is exactly what I want to do.
7. I communicate better.

The most important thing for me though is that I try to laugh about something.... EVERY HOUR THAT I AM AWAKE!

This is my short list. I don't think you all should have to read the whole list hee hee lol

Blessings to each of you,
pacergirl

I hope I can go as well as you!!!....I must start making a list of the changes that I have made to my life over the past 6 years!!!!..Wow where do I start!!!
I want to keep my old friend that has been keeping me ticking!!!...You have reminded me to ask before they chuck it out.....(Wonder if they would be to heavy to wear on a chain around our necks..May be a bit heavy!)
lol..
I am feeling so good at the moment that I am wondering if the new PM will be as good ??

Anyway thanks for your positive remarks ..I am not so nervous now.!!

Keep smiling,

I need a bit of a boost today, just having a bit of a down week, no particular reason. Just eaten chocolate, so there goes the diet.
