Cont. "Just Get Used to it"

I have news.... This is a continuation of a post from earlier this week.

I heard from my EP today. She uploaded the information from the holter monitor and she has discovered that I have "A LOT" of PVC's. I appear to very sensitive to these extra beats and that is why I am distressed by them. She was certain that I am not experiencing A-fib. The only problem is that the PVC's can be a precursor to underlying heart aliments. The final result is that they are going to keep an eye on how I am doing, but they are not worried. My Cardio didn't have time to call me, so the EP did. Thank goodness someone is communicating with me. I'm not sure what "keeping an eye on me" actually means to them. I'm developing a sense of humor about it all now that I know that I am not dying. lol. My hubby says if I need someone to keep an eye on my heart that he will be glad to do it but I will have to disrobe first! he says he doesn't want to miss anything! lol.... He is a funny guy. ha ha!

So thank you all once again for being here for me. If I can be of assistance to any of you and I am able, just let em know.

Cheers,
Pacergirl

PVC's

Those PVC's can be an interesting experience. They rarely are anything serious though. Like so many things in medicine I am concerned they have been identified as another profit center.

To give some idea I have been running around 2500 PVC's/day for almost a year. I think I have identified part of the problem, but won't know til my next checkup in Jan. Anyway, I just get on with life.

I agree with your hubby. You can't keep an eye on a covered heart.
