pulsating "shocking" feeling

About 6 days ago I started getting annoyed by this pulsating feeling. Very hard to describe. Feels like a PVC would, like a strong beat. I dont feel it in chest though like anything palpitations cause. I feel it like in my hands and heads. If you have ever had high blood pressure and get that feeling of your pulse in your head, it feels much like that. Sometimes it is just one beat, sometimes it is 3 beats. Happens all day long at random times. It does not correlate with my ventricle rate at all. SO... I know it isnt PVC's. I had a big surgery on my intestines 2 weeks ago. I feel like crap most of the time so whether these make me feel worse I dont know. All I know is it is annoying cause it is like a shock feeling. I am paced in both atria and ventricle. I do not have an ICD. So last night it bothered me enough that I went to the ER. Interrogated my pacemaker and found nothing. Watched on the monitor.. saw nothing. The lady that did the interrogation was very poor, she really did nothing but read the report. Didnt do any testing since I had it a month ago. Now I am at a loss. I dont know what could be causing it. It only makes sense to me to be something with my pacemaker. Why else would you get random shocking, pulsating feelings...right? Anyone have any insight???

Perhaps you should call your doctor or surgeon who did the surgery on your intestines and let them know!!!

It couldn't hurt to mention it to them since the surgery was just 2 weeks ago.

Better safe than sorry.

Take care,

I am just grateful to God that I lived long enough to have my ICD put in. So many people are not as lucky as us; even though we sometimes don't feel lucky.
