Hi,

It's me again! If anyone can tell me why the pre-set alarm goes off
even after taking 80mg Lasix for almost a month. Previously a few days of Lasix used to take care of the problem.

Usually, the alarm goes off because of fluid accumulation in the lungs. My lungs are clear and am wondering if there could be any other reason. My doc is on vacation and I am reluctant to go consult someone else unless it's absolutely necessary.

I was just wondering if there is anyone else in with your Dr. or a nurse practitioner that could help you?

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
