Pin prick feeling

I get a feeling over my pacemaker that feels like many pins being stuck into that area. Does anyone else have this feeing and what is it exactly? I just got my pacemaker in February and still have many questions.

Pins-N-Needles

Hi CMoore,

I'm assuming you feel the pins and needles mostly when your clothing or hand rubs across the incision scar, right?

If so, it's probably a bit of nerve damage caused by the incision. The pins and needles feeling usually goes away, although there may be a little numbness remaining permanently at the site. It's just 1 of the little things that happen, and you get used to it.

If it occurs sharply at random times, it could be a leaky lead, but it doesn't sound like it.
