Need Some Advice

Hello,

I am getting married soon and for my husband I was thinking of getting his initials on my lower abdomen area. But I am scared because I have a pacer/ defib in my right upper shoulder and am not sure if the defib will go off when I am getting the tattoo. Can someone please tell me if they have got a tattoo while having a defib inmplant? Thanks!

I don't have a D-Fib, but do have a suggestion. Why not be old fashioned and just put your initials in his ring and his initials in your ring. That way if, God forbid, things don't work out take the ring off and its over and you will not have to look for someone to remove his brand from your abdomen.

there is the possiblity of infection and could very well cause an infection to me brain. there is always a chance of that or infection around heart. so my earings lie in wait for my grandaughter jessie

Tattoos are ok, just not over the device. I've never heard of a problem with it setting them off. Have you checked the book that came with it? It should list things to avoid.
