New To me

Hi, I suppose you classify me as old 73!!!!! but I had an emergency pacemaker fitted for complete block. Believe me I am so grateful because now I have resumed all my previous activities.
I play tennis 5 days a week. Walk extensively etc, which previously I couldn't understand why my body could not cope with anything anymore.
Mine was implanted in November 2007 and now i forget it is in place. If you have a good E.P. they will do all the adjustments to make life easier. I have mine set 60 at night and 72 during the day, maximum pulse at 130. This is to control Atrial Fib..

As I have said before I do have Variant Angina so I do have to be a little careful to make sure I have my Nitro with me and consider any chest pain.

If Loopy Lu is reading I am from England, The Isle of Wight, and now live in Colorado. Muff

I'm young 79!!!. Sounds like things are going well with your pacemaker.

Does the Nitro seem to help the Variant Angina? They originally diagnosed me with it, but I found out it was actually GERD that happened with exercise. In my case Nitro was no help.

I say this because the diagnosis of Variant Angina is sometimes used because the symptoms don't match true angina for good reason.

Sounds to me like you are fitter than most 70+, 60+ and possibly 50+, keepup the good work
