life again

Hi everybody my prayers are with everyone here on this site. I've been pacing and motorcycle riding "both" for one year now, I got a new lease on life with the pacemaker. I actually love knowing this little machine is keeping my heart beating right.
Well I think I left the laundry on the line in the rain. Doc says I have glaucoma and that there's a chance I'm gonna be blind within five years. Is there anyone here that also has to deal with both please write to me. Countryriders2

Glaucoma

Welcome. My husband has awful glaucoma. His mother had it too. Hubby spends twice a day rigidly putting eye drops in his eyes. He attends a specialist regularly and has field sight tests. So far it has been stable for a couple of years now. I hope you can find some successful treatment that can arrest your glaucoma. All the best and I will keep you in my thoughts. Billie

I think some glaucoma meds might interact with heart meds so make sure your eye dr. and cardiologist know about each other's treatments. So sorry to hear about this stressful diagnosis and hope that they get it under control.

Well I'd just like to thank you all. Im a walking filing cabinet for all Doc's. The gift of the pacer should have been enough. I had to get in the wrong line for exit and get this glaucoma. So now's the time to ask myself is there any thing in life I'd like to do? I'll get back to ya all on that. Much love Diane
