USA, Georgia, South, PM for 38 years

I have had 9 PMs, 2 open heart surgery procedures, and several other things done throughout 40 years of life. I am looking for other PM patients, BOTH young and old to carry on live video chats with. I use a service called oovoo.com and would like to carry on live chats, update you on MY upcoming surgery, and just meet people around my age or YOUNGER that would love to ask questions, compare PM related problems. If YOU are interested in live VIDEO CHAT just look me up as repwork. Thanks and Hope to chat with you.

Another member recently had a similar idea....some members were very interested and some were not. So don't take it personally if you get some replies that some are not interested. I think it's just because some people like to private, or perhaps they're shy or just uncomfortable putting their face out there if you know what I mean. Personally, I think it's a great idea, but to find the time would be a problem for me and the members here are from all around the world so setting up a time might prove to be tricky, but I wish you the very best.

9 pacemakers in 40 yrs. WOW. Did you happen to see (to the right of this screen) there is a section in red called LATEST NEWS...below that you will see "Paced the longest"....I think you would find that very interesting. I've only been pacing for 6 yrs, last week was my anniversary or some call it birthday:)

It would be nice if you could also stay here as a member as with ALL of your experience, boy oh boy, you sure could help a lot of people on this site.

Again, welcome and I sure do hope you stick around and I hope you get some pacers to join you in the live chat.

Take care,
Pookie

Hi again:)

Me again.

I've noticed that you have posted 9 postings, all of which are asking people to join you on FaceBook or now asking people to join you in live video chat.

It's a good idea for those few (just a guess) who might be interested, gosh only knows - you may get a lot of interested people, but now that I've re-read all 9 of your posts, I feel like you're trying to take people away from here. That didn't come out right, and everyone has the right to make their own decisions, but I just don't understand why you don't post your experiences here so over 12,000 members could benefit. You have never responded to anyone's postings!!!!!!!!

I'm not trying to be mean or critical, but don't be surprised if you get some more questions on why you won't be an active member here.

Cheers,
Pookie

Member List search

You might want to do a Member List search under the Clubhouse in the upper left hand corner.
I searched using GA and found 130 members in GA.

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
