hello all, I am somewhat new to this website

I have a medtronic pc,I quess for 2 years. I had been fainting for years, drs said it was everthing, but the fact that i had bradycardia.two years ago I fainted in the bathroom,hit my head square in the middle of my forehead, Earlier iremember feeling very tired,took a nap,upon quickly waking up,I ran to the bathroom because I felt nauseaaus.Sorry for the terrible errors with spacing my words.finally they made me have a tilt table test.I still feel tired some days,especially when I do too much.What concerns me is the sweating I experience some days worse then others.Drs have said the sweating is nothing to be concerned about. I am a nervous person.my pm tests are good.I am so happy I found this pacemaker club,now I feel not so alone.I am 67 yrs olds grandma .God bless you all and a happy,healthy new year to you all. pc cr.

I can relate to your story...I was blacking out for years before receiving my pacer. Now I have my life back! As Frank said, I'm glad you found us, too!

Thanks for the warm welcome.I feel scared some days,like to day the house was pretty quiet and I could have swore I heard this low beeping sound,I tryed to put my head closer to the pacemaker,but that did not help any.Just wondering if anyone else hears what might be the pacemaker beeping,it is only for a second,then the sound pauses,then a beep again.I asked the dr about this and he said no you won't hear it Take care and have a healthy happy new year.God Bless.

just wondering if a pacemaker can be heard in a very quiet setting, I thought I heard a very faint sort of beeping sound, it is funny cause hubby heard it too.
