New Year's Resolution

Hi everyone,
I want to begin by saying THANK YOU to all of you who have taken the time to read my posts and respond with such thoughtful answers.

I am in the middle of my 4th "good day." Panic attack free! It's mostly due to the constant Xanax running through my veins LOL, but with that said, it's given me the time to calm down and let my hyperactive nervous system relax too.

My resolution this year is to "get well." I have a much needed appointment on Thursday with a therapist who wrote a book on panic attacks and anxiety. I am looking forward to finding some relief.

So cheers to everyone, all of you that are here on this site. My wish is that everyone finds comfort, optimism and good health this year. Truly I do.

So a big cheers to each and everyone of you. You are all the bravest most kind group of people that I know. Thank you for all your support and I am looking forward to reporting some more good news in the future~

Wendy

All I can say is: ^5 to you!!! Bravo.

You can do it. Most of us have experienced the same to some degree, it's not fun, but you will get thru it.

Great Resolution

I am so glad that you have decided to take the 1st step towards felling better. The 1st step is always the hardest. Talking through all your thoughts and fears will relieve a great burden. I notice you are young and also have a young daughter. Even a perfectly healthy Mom worries about the care of a young child.

We are the lucky ones. They have diagnosed our problem and fixed it with a pacemaker. Plus, we now get regular checkups. I know I broke into tears the first few months, every time someone asked about my health...or I felt a little dizzy etc. I spent many sleepless nights until my Dr. finally gave me something to help me sleep. Once I started feeling rested, the rest fell into place.

I wish you well with your therapist and if for any reason, he/she is not the right person for you, just find another one until you get what you need.
