Yr an old timer having a pacer since 18months. How many replacements have you had?

I'll take the easy ones first. Phones like cordless and cell aren't a problem with the newer pacemakers. Neither are computers, WFII, or whatever. People have different opinions about airport detectors. You can always mention it to them and show them your card. That way you might get a pat down.

As for headaches and dizziness that one is hard to say. A maladjusted pacer can cause all sorts of strange problems, so are they just a part of life. I'm an old duffer (79) and have had them all my life. The trick is to notice how often and how serious they are.

We have several teens on the club so I'm sure you will hear from them.

You are only across the water from me as I am in South West England. You seem to have done very well . Lots of people get headaches but dizzyness I cant answer that because you have not given details of your heart condition and your pacemaker. Cheers Peter

Welcome to the club. I'm in and out of your airport all the time, never had any probs. Think most people have agreed now that phones are ok, other than keep them away from the actual pm if you can. HH

Ohh by the way unfortunately I aint a teenager! lol.

You know you're wired when...

You have a little piece of high-tech in your chest.
